2024: Together with Inuit Partners, Building Our Future

posted: 06/10/2025

As we publish our 2024 Engagement Report, we look back on a year marked by two important milestones for Raglan Mine.

  • The inauguration of the Anuri Mine, symbolizing a successful collaboration with our Inuit partners and aimed at extending the life of our operations for several decades.

  • The filing of our Closure plan to the Quebec government, developed in close collaboration with our Nunavimmiut partners—a key step in planning our future in a collaborative and responsible manner.

This year, we also rolled out initiatives to reduce our impact, enhance worker safety, and generate lasting benefits for local communities.

" This ninth edition of the Engagement Report continues to shine a light on our recent prevention efforts and social, community and environmental engagement initiatives. This report is also a chance to take stock of the best practices and outstanding achievements of our people."

— Jean-François Verret, Vice President, Glencore – Raglan Mine

Transparency remains at the heart of our partnership with Inuit communities. This annual report allows us to provide our stakeholders with an overview of our efforts and reaffirm our commitment to working together. Highlighting our achievements in health and safety, environment, social performance, and community engagement.

In the 2024 edition, we notably cover the following topics:

  • The continuation of our historic and lasting collaboration with the Inuit communities under the Raglan Agreement and with the Raglan Committee;

  • Our social performance and various involvements in Nunavik;

  • Our environmental protection initiatives, particularly with the Closure Plan sub-committee;

  • Our progress in health and safety and human rights;

  • Our major projects, including the inauguration of the Anuri Mine, which is expected to allow us to continue our operations in Nunavik for at least 20 years;

  • Our initiatives for energy reduction and adaptation to climate change;

And much more!
