Our Story is also Cesar's

posted: 05/09/2023

As part of our 25 years of activities, we are going on an adventure and following some of the members of our Raglan family during their time "off." These visits are an opportunity to discover a new side of our colleagues and to introduce you to these people without whom our story would be impossible to tell.

Before César came to the mine, he owned a retail business. But when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, he decided to close up shop and started looking for a new line of work. One that caught his eye was an opening as a dry room attendant at Raglan Mine. He was immediately drawn to the idea of the Far North, before he even knew what he’d be doing there. The moment he got here he was hooked on the tundra.

You can only eat one thing for eternity. What do you want? Seafood

What would be your spirit animal and why? A lioness. She cares for the cubs, finds food for her family and will give her life to protect them.

If you had a superpower, what would it be? To become invisible when I want, to be able to go to forbidden places and find out what people are really like.

Three things you would take with you to a desert island?
- A radio so I could listen to music
- A knife for survival
- A book

Your guilty pleasure? Running. I love running. It’s my favourite thing to do, no matter where I am.

Something your colleagues don't know about you: I read philosophy books every day. I’ve done that for years. I apply their lessons in daily life.
