Our Story is also Cassandra's
As part of our 25 years of activities, we are going on an adventure and following some of the members of our Raglan family during their time "off." These visits are an opportunity to discover a new side of our colleagues and to introduce you to these people without whom our story would be impossible to tell.
This year, Cassandra celebrates her 15 years of service for Raglan Mine. After starting out as a recruitment officer, this sporty mom of three has risen through the ranks since her arrival in 2008. From advisor to coordinator, she has now held the role of supervisor - recruitment since 2012.
We met her and her family on a beautiful spring day, full of outdoor activities, to ask her a few questions.
A jam-packed Saturday
Zodiac sign : Capricorn
You can only eat one thing for eternity. What do you want? Cereal, it reminds me of all the periods of my life, but with different flavors depending on my age! Plus, it can be served soft and warm when I'm 92! Ha ha ha!
What would be your totem animal and why? An octopus. I do a lot in a day!
If you had a superpower, what would it be? Definitely organization... being in a blended family of 7, there are many schedules to coordinate!
Three things you would take with you to a desert island? My kids (if they are quiet), some nuts and a map, otherwise I'll get lost because of my terrible sense of direction!
Your guilty pleasure? Playing outside in "bottes de pin", what we call rainboots in Abitibi. I have also never stopped loved blowing soap bubbles outside!
Tea, coffee or hot chocolate? Coffee! Definitely (way too much of it, actually...)
Something your colleagues don't know about you: I was a hockey goalie for almost 10 years, I was even part of the "Abitibi" elite team. Today, I am a catcher for the Moreau softball team.
My job at Raglan Mine has allowed me to grow professionally and personally. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to develop good relationships with several colleagues who have become friends. My work also allows me to reconcile my personal life with my professional responsibilities, which is why i think that i am exactly where i'm supposed to be.
