CEZinc Celebrates 60 Years in the Comunity

CEZinc began its metallurgical processing activities in 1963. Since then, the refinery has prospered and seen thousands of employees pass through its doors, contributing positively to the socio-economic development of the Valleyfield region in Quebec.

Employees gathered in large numbers on July 11 and 12 under the Valleyfield Regattas’ tent to mark this anniversary, celebrating CEZinc's past, present and future. And what a future! The company will see the complete transformation of its electrolysis hall in 2024, as well as the roll-out of its brand new employer brand, reflecting its current identity and future aspirations.

What's more, on October 21, employees welcomed some 470 visitors to an Open House to give the community and their families a behind-the-scenes look at their plant. A day full of memories and emotions!
