Elk Valley Resources Scholarship Program

Applications for the Elk Valley Resources Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 academic year will be accepted online between July 22 to August 31.

The program is offered to eligible children or dependents of Canadian employees and retirees.

These scholarships support students as they continue their education at a post-secondary institution. Please note, dependents of temporary employees, including co-op or summer students, are not eligible for scholarship program participation.

Applicants for these awards must be under the age of 25 and pursuing a course of study that will lead to their first recognized degree, diploma, certificate or trade credential by attending an accredited university or college, an accredited junior or regional college, a recognized institute of technology, or by enrolling in an entry-level trade program recognized by the Industry Training Authority of BC (or its equivalent in other provinces and states).

This scholarship is a one-time award per academic year. Eligible children or dependents must apply for a scholarship each year.

Class 1 Awards

Students must be registered for at least 80% of a full course load as defined by the institution.
