posted: 01/02/2016

In June 2016, the Quebec Mining Association (QMA) awarded the F.J. O'Connell trophy in the category "Underground operations, more than 400,000 hours" to Raglan Mine.

The criteria for the award of the trophy take into account improvements in a company's safety record, its record compared to the industry average, and its combined accident rate based on specified target values. The objective is to reward a strong performance in the field of safety across the mining industry.

Did you know?
Since the beginning of its operations, Raglan Mine has received the F.J. O'Connell award 12 times.

We thank and congratulate all our employees on their personal efforts with respect to occupational health and safety. This achievement would not have been possible without their commitment.

SAFENICKEL is our priority and must remain so for our colleagues, our family and us.
