Baldy Ridge Extension

The Baldy Ridge Extension Project is an extension of EVR’s existing Elkview Operations (EVO), located approximately 3 km from Sparwood, BC, and was approved by the B.C. provincial government in 2016. The Project is designed to extend the lifespan of EVO by several decades.

EVR will be holding a public drop-in session on May 27, 2026, to update local residents on the advancement of the Baldy Ridge Extension Project. We will also cover topics of interest, including dust and air quality, noise, visual impacts, reclamation, blasting and vibration, and socio-community and economic effects. EVR representatives will be available to answer questions.
