Glencore Recognized for 10 Years of Participation in the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS)

In May 2020, Glencore was recognized for 10 years of participation in the Basic Aviation Risk Standard (BARS) program of the Flight Safety Foundation.

Raglan Mine’s Director of Flight Operations, Dean Carroll, sits on its Technical Advisory Committee. BARS provides risk management standards for aviation activities to organizations that deal with aircraft operators. Glencore has contracts with many operators, such as Air Inuit and Nunavik Rotors for its facilities around the world.
